Privacy Policy

Music Player Pro is designed to work as an offline music player. This policy explains what the app accesses on your device, what it stores locally, and what it does not collect.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information. Music Player Pro does not collect, upload, sell, rent, or share your personal data, audio files, playlists, or listening activity with the developer or third parties.

The app does not include advertising SDKs or analytics tools, and it does not use internet access to transmit your data.

2. What the App Accesses

The app reads audio files stored on your device so it can:

  • build your local music library,
  • display songs, albums, artists, and folders,
  • play selected tracks, and
  • show embedded or related local metadata such as titles and artwork.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide core features, Music Player Pro may store app data locally on your device, including:

  • playlists, favorites, and play history,
  • equalizer and playback preferences,
  • edited tags or trimmed audio files you choose to create, and
  • cached artwork or playback state needed for normal app operation.

This information is kept on your device and is not sent to the developer through the app.

4. Permissions Used

  • Audio / storage access: used to find and play music stored on your device.
  • Notification access: used to show playback controls in the notification area on supported Android versions.
  • Audio settings access: used for equalizer and playback audio controls.
  • Foreground service and wake lock: used to keep music playback running properly in the background.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Music Player Pro does not share your data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers. The app itself is intended to function offline and does not send your media library or listening history to external servers.

If you download the app through platforms such as Google Play, those platforms may process information under their own privacy policies. That processing is outside the app itself.

6. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

7. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or clarifications. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
